This is an adapter to bolt an NB throttle body to your 1.6L Miata flanged intake manifold. The advantages are the IAC valve is integrated into the throttle inlet, this simplifies intake piping because there is no split off to the IAC air intake. This is often a leak point in charge piping and a complication in the routing of intercooler piping.
